Kim L. Milone // Bio
Traditional:
Kim L. Milone is a licensed attorney in Louisiana and Florida, with a focus on food law, including food ingredients, labeling, and claims, as well as general legal support for manufacturers and retailers. She is also a practicing Mediator and Arbitrator, providing alternative dispute resolution services to a variety of stakeholders.
Kim is the founder of Collective Practices, the home of mindfulness and meditation instruction for people navigating change — in life, in work, and in the world.
At the heart of her work is this mission:
👉🏽 Kim helps people learn to breathe through the messy middle of change, growth, pivots, and re-imaginings.
Through Collective Practices, she offers trauma-informed mindfulness tools that teach you how to regulate, reflect, and release — whether you're holding space for others or simply trying to hold yourself steady.
Her work flows through two distinct offerings:
Intentional Legal supports lawyers, mediators, ombuds, and social workers with practical mindfulness strategies for high-conflict, high-stakes environments. Through workshops and trainings, these helping professionals learn tools to help build emotional regulation, reflect with clarity, and release accumulated stress — all while staying grounded in integrity and compassionate professionalism.
Meditation with Kim is for anyone curious about meditation or seeking to deepen their understanding and practice. She offers a carefully curated pathway of learning through structured on-demand courses, seasonal book club circles, and ongoing community support. Students explore the history, theory, and diverse styles of meditation in a way that builds both understanding and embodiment. The goal is to demystify meditation while preserving the dignity and sacredness of these practices by providing the context that helps people choose a practice that truly fits — not just follow a trend - and cultivate a path as part of a community of fellow seekers.
Wherever you are in your journey, Collective Practices offers a holding space to slow down, learn, explore, get clear, and grow — with intention.
